Corinthians drew 1-1 with Santos on Sunday in the sixth round of the Campeonato Brasileiro. Memphis Depay scored at Vila Belmiro, ending his longest barren run for the club.
According to Meu Timao, the club have sounded out Arthur Cabral, aged 27, who is currently at Botafogo. The hierarchy are pessimistic about a deal, with president Osmar Stabile showing resistance to the move.

Corinthians have also agreed a partnership with PX, a technology firm focused on road freight transport.
The company’s branding appears on the back of the shorts and made its debut in the match against Santos.
The sponsorship is expected to bring R$ four million per year to the club.
