Corinthians ‘interested in’ Cebolinha, who prioritises move abroad | OneFootball

Corinthians have identified Flamengo forward Everton Cebolinha as a potential signing, though he is not a priority as he favours clubs outside Brazil, according to ESPN Brasil.

The club are not planning major investment at this stage of the season, with Fernando Diniz focused on making the most of the current squad.

Cebolinha is under contract at Flamengo until December this year, so he can sign a pre-contract from June and is already working behind the scenes on his future.

He started Wednesday’s match against Vitória, was replaced in the second half, and recorded three shots while creating one chance.

Corinthians’ squad already includes former Flamengo players Hugo Souza, Matheuzinho, Gustavo Henrique, Allan and Vitinho, with Allan on loan from Flamengo.

With the window yet to open, Flamengo’s attention turns to Atlético-MG at Arena MRV on Sunday 26 at 20h30 Brasília time in the Campeonato Brasileiro.
