Corinthians’ derby greats, led by Luizinho and Cláudio Christóvam on 21 goals, headline the club’s scoring history against Palmeiras.
According to Meu Timao, Luizinho holds the superior rate and the most appearances in the fixture, 44 matches and 0.48 per game, while Cláudio registered 51 games at 0.41.
Baltazar sits third on 20 goals. Teleco follows with 15 in 28, averaging 0.54, and Marcelinho Carioca completes the top five with 14 in 29.
Mirandinha boasts the best strike rate in the derby, 10 in 13 for 0.77 per game. The top 10 also features Neco, 12 in 22, Servílio, 10 in 36, Carbone, 9 in 14, and Sócrates, 8 in 18.
No current player ranks among the club’s all-time leading derby scorers. This decade’s list is led by Róger Guedes with four in six, then Yuri Alberto with four in 13, and Rodrigo Garro with two in seven.
Also on one derby goal each this decade are Rodrigo Varanda, Gabriel, Mateus Vital, Gustavo Henrique, Matheus Bidu, Memphis Depay and Gil.
Yuri Alberto could edge towards the all-time top 10 this season, needing four more derby goals. His next opportunity comes on Sunday at 20:30 at Neo Química Arena, in a tie that carries a Paulistão knockout place.
