The Federação Paulista de Futebol announced the 2026 Paulistão Feminino schedule on Tuesday, with Corinthians, last season’s runners-up, opening on 6 May against São Paulo. The finals are set for 16 and 20 December, and the dates are base listings that may change when the final schedule is issued.
This edition brings two changes. VAR will operate in every round, so clubs must select stadiums equipped for the technology. The format also shifts, cutting the first phase from 14 matches to seven in a single round.
All teams face each other once. The top two go straight to the semi-finals, while the next four contest an extra two-legged tie. Those winners complete the last four.
Corinthians are the competition’s joint record holders with four titles, level with Santos and Palmeiras. They lost last year’s final to Palmeiras, repeating the outcome from the previous edition. Their most recent crown came in 2023, beating São Paulo 5-3.
First phase fixtures: Corinthians v São Paulo, 6 May, Red Bull Bragantino v Corinthians, 13 May, Corinthians v Santos, 20 May, Corinthians v Ferroviária, 17 July, Palmeiras v Corinthians, 29 July, Mirassol v Corinthians, 12 August, Corinthians v Taubaté, 26 August.
