Corinthians name starting XI to face Internacional away in the Brasileirão

On the evening of Wednesday, October 1st, at 7:30 PM (Brasília time), Corinthians visits Internacional at Beira-Rio Stadium, in a match valid for the 26th round of the Brazilian Championship. At this moment, the Alvinegro occupies 14th place with 29 points (seven wins, eight draws, and 10 losses – 25 goals scored and 31 conceded).

The Corinthians coaching staff will not be able to count on the following players for the match: defender André Ramalho (strain in the right hamstring), midfielder Charles (treatment for pain in the right knee), midfielder Rodrigo Garro (grade 2 injury in the right calf), as well as forwards Yuri Alberto (serving suspension) and Memphis Depay (final stage of recovery from edema in the right thigh).

Given this, coach Dorival Júnior has lined up the following team to start the match: Hugo Souza, Matheuzinho, Cacá, Gustavo Henrique, Fabrizio Angileri, and Hugo Farias; Raniele, Ryan, and Breno Bidon; Vitinho and Gui Negão.

The bench options are: Felipe Longo, João Pedro Tchoca, Félix Torres, Matheus Bidu, João Vitor ‘Jacaré’, Maycon, André, José Martínez, Dieguinho, Ángel Romero, Talles Magno, and Kayke Ferrari.

After facing Internacional away in the Brasileirão, Corinthians remains focused on the national competition. On the next October 4th, at 9 PM (Brasília time), the Alvinegro will host Mirassol at Neo Química Arena, for the 27th round of the Brazilian Championship.
