Nike launched Brazil’s second shirt for the 2026 World Cup at a São Paulo event attended by several Corinthians players on Thursday night.
According to Meu Timao, the strip is a collaboration with the Jordan brand of Michael Jordan, and Luiz Gustavo Bahia, Dieguinho and Gi Fernandes wore the new shirt. Others invited included Andressa Alves and Jhonson, who are also sponsored by the apparel brand.
Of those named, only Dieguinho has yet to play for Brazil at youth or senior level. In June 2025 he was called up, alongside Bahia, to join senior training at CT Dr. Joaquim Grava before the World Cup qualifier against Paraguay at Neo Química Arena.
Bahia has represented Brazil at under-15 and under-17 level. He was selected for the 2023 under-17 World Cup but missed out through injury.
Jhonson has been called by Brazil at youth and senior level. She finished as top scorer at the under-17 South American Championship in 2022, which Brazil won, and has since been selected for the seniors under Arthur Elias.
Gi Fernandes has followed a similar path and is one of the standout young right-backs in the national set-up. She was part of the 2022 title success and played at two under-20 World Cups. Her first senior call came in February this year, but she withdrew with a thigh injury, from which she has now recovered.
Andressa Alves has a long international career, with more than 100 call-ups, two Copa América titles and three World Cups in 2015, 2019 and 2023. She has not been called since the last World Cup.
