Corinthians have rejected another bid for 19-year-old striker Gui Negão, with Türkiye's Erzurumspor FK proposing a loan with an obligation to buy. According to Meu Timao, terms were not disclosed.

Erzurumspor won the 2025/26 second tier and, preparing for the top flight after five years away, are prioritising attacking reinforcements.

In 2024, while in Corinthians’ under-20s at 18, the club declined a €14 million offer, about R$ 88.7 million then, from Montpellier under ousted president Augusto Melo.

Joining from Elite Itaquerense in 2016 to play futsal, he rose through the academy and, after a 2025 Copinha runners-up finish, earned first-team chances under Dorival Júnior. He was permanently promoted after the Club World Cup in July 2025.

He has 36 senior appearances with six goals and two assists. He was decisive in the 2025 Copa do Brasil quarter-final against Athletico-PR, scoring twice and setting up another.

A thigh strain in March 2026 on Brazil under-20 duty kept him out until May. He has not played since 22 March and has been unused for six straight matches, with Fernando Diniz saying others are further ahead physically.

He renewed in August last year to 30 June 2030. His clause is R$ 140 million domestically, up from R$ 40 million, and €100 million, about R$ 634 million now, for international deals.

Corinthians have also received bids for Hugo Souza, Matheuzinho, André Luiz and Yuri Alberto. With debt above R$ 2.7 billion, they aim to raise R$ 151 million from 2026 player sales.
