According to Globo.com, the club see high sale potential and, after Maycon’s departure, plan to give the teenager increased opportunities with the senior side in 2026.

He is competing with Carrillo and Martínez for a starting berth, with Breno Bidon established as the creator and Raniele operating closer to the centre-backs. Charles and Ryan are further options for Dorival Júnior.

He is under contract until December 2029, with a €100 million release clause for foreign clubs, about R$630 million at current rates. The coaching staff value his positioning, late runs into the box, strength in duels, plus his passing and physical output.
