Corinthians set for crucial week in football, youth, basketball, futsal

The second week of September arrives with several important challenges for Corinthians. With the return of professional men's football, the schedule is even more packed, now including the Copa do Brasil. Additionally, the Brabas play the Brasileirão final, accompanied by basketball, futsal, and youth games throughout the week.

To kick off the calendar, the basketball team takes to the court this Tuesday, the 9th, to face São José in the Paulista Championship, starting at 8 PM (Brasília time), at Wlamir Marques. On the same day, at 8:30 PM, the futsal team also plays, but in the National Futsal League (LNF), against Dracena, away from home.

Wednesday, the 10th, is exclusively for professional men's football. The People's Team hosts Athletico-PR for the return leg of the Copa do Brasil quarter-finals. The match takes place at Neo Química Arena, starting at 9:30 PM, after Corinthians won the first leg 1-0.

On Thursday, Corinthians Basketball plays again. At Parque São Jorge, Timão faces Mogi Basquete in the state championship. The game starts at 8 PM, in the realignment phase of the competition.

The following day has two commitments: the Timãozinho Under-20 faces XV de Piracicaba in the return leg of the second phase of the Paulistão in their category. After playing in the countryside, the match takes place at Estádio Alfredo Schürig, Fazendinha, starting at 3 PM.

In the evening, the futsal team continues their LNF campaign. Continuing the sequence away from home, Corinthians will visit Praia Grande Futsal at Ginásio Presidente Ciro II, at 9 PM.

On Saturday, the 13th, there are three commitments for the black and white, two in youth and one in professional. The men's Under-17 team faces Ferroviária in the Paulistão, at 11 AM, at Fazendinha. Hours later, at 3 PM, the Brabinhas Under-17 visit Ituano also in the Paulista Championship, at CT Novelli Júnior.

To close the night, Corinthians, led by Dorival Júnior, faces Fluminense in the Brasileirão. The match takes place at Maracanã, starting at 9 PM, with expectations of a large presence of the Faithful Fans.

On the last day of the week, Sunday, the 14th, the grand final of the Women's Brasileirão takes place. After a draw in the first leg, the Brabas rely on the home factor to beat Cruzeiro and win another national title. The decision takes place at 10:30 AM, at Neo Química Arena.
