Corinthians have cleared overdue bonus payments owed to the Brabas for 2025 titles and finalised Copa do Brasil prize distribution to Dorival Júnior's squad.

According to Meu Timao, the delayed instalment has been paid, and salaries and image rights for both the women's and men's teams are up to date.

Cash-flow issues in January delayed payments at the start of 2026. The bonuses cover last season's Campeonato Brasileiro and Libertadores titles and runners-up finishes in the Supercopa do Brasil and Campeonato Paulista, with performance revenues totalling R$ 16.4 million.

The club had initially planned to propose instalments, with a first tranche before the Brabas' debut at the women's Club World Cup. They finished runners-up at that tournament, losing to Arsenal of England in the final. The money was set to come from Ezze Seguros' prize payout for the men's Copa do Brasil title, but that did not happen at the time.

Corinthians have now completed the three instalments linked to the Copa do Brasil triumph. They beat Vasco da Gama 2-1 on 21 December 2025 to secure R$ 77,175,000, of which president Osmar Stabile had pledged 50% to players and staff. That payment has now been concluded.

Both teams are in action this week. The men host Coritiba at 21:30 on Wednesday at the Neo Química Arena in the fifth round of the Campeonato Brasileiro. The Brabas, now led by Emily Lima, visit Palmeiras at the Arena Barueri at 21:30 on Friday in the fourth round of the Brasileirão Feminino.
