Corinthians' Deliberative Council has finalised a statute reform draft for a nine March vote, and it still leaves open the possibility that Fiel Torcedor members remain without voting rights.

According to Globo.com, the version sent to councillors outlines three alternatives. One grants the vote four years after approval, another allows it in this year's election, and a third keeps members without a vote.

At a public hearing, no one spoke against granting the vote, and in December council president Romeu Tuma Júnior said he would ask the reform commission to remove the clause denying it. He later said some councillors insisted on retaining the no-vote option, and that the commission followed its rules, though he disagreed.

The project also paves the way for a potential shift to a SAF structure with lighter safeguards than the initial draft.

Options include banning any deal that would remove institutional control, with a club veto, or requiring Corinthians to hold at least 10% of voting shares and a decisive say on strategic matters.

Any SAF move or football spin-off would need Deliberative Council approval after a non-binding opinion from the Council of Orientation, then backing from at least two thirds of members at a general assembly. Terms for councillors, the president and vice-presidents would rise from three to four years, and a members' vote is expected in April.
