Corinthians held tactical work at CT Joaquim Grava on Tuesday as preparation ramps up for Friday’s Brasileirão Feminino meeting with Red Bull Bragantino at Fazendinha, kick-off 21:00.
According to Meu Timao, the session was split into three blocks, beginning with gym work. Head coach Emily Lima then led on-pitch drills focused on movement and set pieces, before a club psychology department activity closed proceedings.
Corinthians are seeking to improve their campaign and sit fifth with 10 points. Since Emily Lima took charge, they have beaten América Mineiro and Botafogo, and lost to Palmeiras. The first two rounds were overseen by Lucas Piccinato.
Lima must contend with absences. Centre-backs Thais Regina and Agustina remain sidelined, the former after surgery for a fibula fracture in her left ankle, the latter with a muscle injury in her left leg.
Forward Carol Nogueira also sustained a knee problem in the match against América Mineiro. The team continue their push to improve their campaign in the sixth round of the competition.
