Corinthians to face Ferroviária on 23 July in Copa do Brasil Feminina last 16 | OneFootball

The Brazilian Football Confederation confirmed on Tuesday afternoon that Corinthians will visit Ferroviária at 15h on Thursday 23 July at Arena Fonte Luminosa in Araraquara. The tie will be shown on pay-TV channel SporTV.

Corinthians reached this stage after a 1-0 win over Palmeiras in the third phase. This is the second edition since the competition returned to the women’s calendar after nine years.

In 2025, Corinthians beat Cruzeiro on penalties in the third phase, then defeated Juventude 3-0 in the last 16, before losing 3-1 to São Paulo in the quarter-finals. Palmeiras won that edition.

The Brabas have lifted the trophy before. In 2016, while partnered with Osasco Audax, the Parque São Jorge club beat São José 5-3 on aggregate, drawing 2-2 in the first leg and winning 3-1 in the second.

The final spot in the third phase is still to be decided. Mauaense face São Paulo at 15h on Monday 6 at Estádio Pedro Benedetti in Mauá, with the winners to meet Vasco da Gama in the fourth phase.

Corinthians’ squad are on a break, with a return scheduled for 24 June during the World Cup pause. Their next official outing will be at 19h on 17 July, when they host Ferroviaria at Fazendinha in the fourth round of the Campeonato Paulista.
