Corinthians’ unbeaten away start to the Brasileirão ended with a 3-1 defeat by Fluminense on Wednesday.
Meu Timao notes that Dorival Júnior’s side had gone four away league matches without defeat, producing one win and three draws.
The only victory in that sequence came on 19 February, a 1-0 success at Athletico Paranaense in the second round.
They followed with three draws, 1-1 with Cruzeiro, 1-1 with Santos and 0-0 with Chapecoense.
Corinthians are sixth in the away standings on six points, with Coritiba leading on 10. They had taken confidence from recent results at the Maracanã, winning there twice in a row, 1-0 against Fluminense in September and 2-1 over Vasco da Gama in December in the Copa do Brasil.
Home form has lagged, with only one win in four matches. One of the two defeats came at Vila Belmiro in the opener against Bahia.
Corinthians aim to halt an eight-match winless run on Sunday, when they face Internacional in Itaquera at 19:30 in the 10th round.
