Corinthians week features Santos derby, Brabas’ London flight and basketball duties

Corinthians face a busy week featuring two Paulista rounds, a Santos derby away, the Brabas’ London trip and key basketball fixtures, plus club statute hearings.
According to Meu Timao, the week opens on Monday with the basketball side visiting Botafogo at 20:00 at Ginásio Oscar Zelaya, Rio de Janeiro, in their 24th NBB game. Corinthians are eighth with 15 wins and eight defeats, while Botafogo are penultimate on three wins and 18 losses from 21.
On Tuesday the women’s team fly to London to contest the Copa das Campeãs, the first Women’s Club World Cup in history. They meet Gotham FC next Wednesday, 28 January, and are travelling early to acclimatise.
Wednesday at 18:00 brings the first public hearing on the 2026 Statute reform, focused on the Deliberative Council election system. On Thursday, Corinthians visit Vila Belmiro to face Santos at 19:30 in the Paulista. Dorival Júnior’s side are seventh on four points, level with Santos, who trail after scoring one goal fewer.
A second public hearing follows on Friday at 18:00 at Parque São Jorge, this time discussing the Council itself. On Sunday, the basketball team play Minas at 11:00 in the Copa Super 8 at Arena UniBH, Belo Horizonte. Later at 20:30, Corinthians go to Rio Claro to meet Velo Clube in the sixth round at Benito Agnelo Castellano.
