OL will host Ligue 2 side Laval in the Coupe de France last 16, scheduled for 3, 4 or 5 February.
The draw was made on Tuesday evening live on beIN Sports. According to Le Progres, Paris Saint-Germain's exit in the last 32 has opened up the competition for those remaining.
Laval, 17th in Ligue 2 and beaten in three of their last four league matches, overcame Istres in the previous round. On paper it looks a favourable assignment for OL at home.
OL saw off Saint-Cyr/Collonges of Regional 1 on 21 December in the last 64, winning 3-0.
The clubs met once before in this competition, in the last 32 on 12 February 1994 at Stade Francis-Le Basser. Then coached by Jean Tigana, OL were knocked out on penalties after a 1-1 draw, losing the shootout 3-1.
Elsewhere in the last 16, the ties include Toulouse v Amiens, Strasbourg v Monaco, Reims v Le Mans, Nice v Montpellier, Marseille v Rennes, Lorient v Paris FC, and Troyes v Lens.
