Inter Milan coach Cristian Chivu will put his Coppa Italia hopes squarely on the shoulders of Francesco Pio Esposito.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport via FCInter1908, the 20-year-old will be the focal point of Inter’s attack in the upcoming games.
After being eliminated from the Champions League, Inter are hellbent on winning their first domestic double since 2010.
Indeed, the Nerazzurri are leading the way in Serie A, sitting at the top of the table, ten points clear of second-placed AC Milan.
Furthermore, they’ll face Como in the Coppa Italia semi-finals, aiming to lift this trophy for a landmark tenth time.

Cristian Chivu will not be able to count on Lautaro Martinez and Ange-Yoan Bonny for tomorrow’s trip to the Sinigaglia Stadium.
Therefore, he will rely on Marcus Thuram and Pio Esposito, with the latter likely to shoulder the goalscoring responsibility.
With Thuram out of form, Chivu expects the young striker to step up and lead the line in the absence of El Toro.
Unlike the Frenchman, Esposito has done well of late, scoring twice in his last five appearances.
