Cristian Sapunaru, the former FC Porto right-back, returned to Olival on Friday and met André Villas-Boas, now the club’s president.
According to O Jogo, the visit was captured in a club video posted on social media, showing smiles all round.

He also crossed paths with assistant coach Lucho González, a former team-mate during his Porto spell.
Members of the medical department were among others to greet the Romanian.
Sapunaru, 41, played for Porto from 2008 to 2012, winning 10 trophies, including three league titles, three Taças de Portugal, three Supertaças and one Europa League title.
He retired last season after a final stint with Rapid Bucharest.
