Supporters of both Al-Nassr and Al-Ittihad held aloft "7 Ronaldo" placards in the seventh minute to back the absent forward during Friday's Saudi Pro League fixture.
According to L'Équipe, Cristiano Ronaldo has refused to play for Al-Nassr since Karim Benzema's transfer from Al-Ittihad to league leaders Al-Hilal was confirmed in the final days of the winter window, boycotting in protest until further notice.

On matchday 21, Al-Nassr defeated Al-Ittihad 2-0.
The stance has not been welcomed by league officials, who reprimanded the five-time Ballon d'Or winner on Friday.
Even so, the number seven appears to retain strong backing from the stands.
