The case of Cristiano Ronaldo with Juventus over unpaid salary still remains unresolved, with a verdict scheduled for January 12, 2026.
As per TuttoMercatoWeb, the dispute concerns money owed from the Portuguese forward’s final season in Turin, linked to the deferred wage agreements introduced during the COVID pandemic.
The matter is behind handled through arbitration, which is a legal process used to resolve financial disputes outside of the courts. A panel will decide whether Ronaldo is entitled to the money he claims Juventus still owe him.

Juventus, meanwhile, have faced several similar cases with former players over outstanding wages but the Ronaldo arbitration is by far the most high-profile and could have major financial implications.
The legendary Portuguese star left the Bianconeri for Manchester United in August 2021 yet the consequences of his spell in Turin continue to linger and are set to continue into 2026.
The final ruling will bring to an end one of the long running chapters from Juventus’ financial controversies.
