Bruno Fernandes is being touted for a Manchester United exit in 2026 – 12 months after he rebuffed a lucrative offer to leave.
Indeed, the Red Devils skipper faces yet another uncertain year at Old Trafford, having been linked with a Saudi Pro League switch once again.

Back in June, Fernandes was approached by Al-Hilal to become another high-profile name in their squad whilst earning a fortune doing so.
The club were reportedly willing to pay United £100 million for their captain’s services, as well as making him one of the highest-paid players in world football with a contract worth £700,000 per week.
After taking several days to deliberate the proposal, Fernandes declined, instead committing his future to the club and reiterating his desire to continue at Old Trafford, where he’s been an integral figure throughout his tenure; the Portuguese maestro has won the Sir Matt Busby Player of the Year award four times since signing in 2020.
He is tied to United until June 2027, but that’s not to say he’ll see out his deal in M16.
According to new reports doing the rounds this week, Al-Ittihad are huge admirers of the 31-year-old and hope to tempt him into pulling the curtains on his European career at the end of 2025/2026.
Additionally, Ben Jacobs (via UtdDistrict) claims Al-Nassr are also among Fernandes’ suitors – to the point Cristiano Ronaldo has held direct talks with his compatriot to discuss the prospect of them reuniting in Riyadh.
Ronaldo, who’s spent the last two-and-a-half years plying his trade in Saudi, spoke with Fernandes in the summer to initially put forth the idea.
United are expected to demand around £60m if they are to part ways with their No.8.
