Cristiano Ronaldo has remarkably opened the door to joining Manchester City in January.
The football great has been tipped to return to Manchester after two years in Saudi Arabia, to help the ailing Premier League champions.
Ronaldo was close to joining City in 2021 before a late push by United sealed a dramatic return to Old Trafford, which ended a little over a year later with his move to the Gulf state.
City are looking for reinforcements after seeing their title hopes all but end before the turn of the year thanks to a staggering loss in form.
Ronaldo is reportedly been seen as a possible answer to City's woes and, when asked at the Globe Soccer Awards on Friday if he would give City a "helping hand", the 39-year-old refused to rule out a sensational move to the Etihad.

"You never know what is going to happen," Ronaldo said. The presenter pushed him to clarify by replying "that's not a no!", to which Ronaldo laughed and refused to elaborate.
Speaking further on City's struggles, Ronaldo said he has little concerns over their long-term struggles.
"Teams have moments," he said. "Difficult times, good times ... City are passing through a difficult moment but I'm 100% sure they will be back."
He added: "I think the big teams, the big players they are smart enough to understand what is the problem, where is the problem.
"I'm sure 100% they will be back. Guardiola is a very smart coach. He knows where the problem is coming from. They will be there like always."
