According to UOL, Crystal Palace have opened initial talks to sign Vasco forward Rayan, 19, and are exploring a delayed transfer. He has also attracted attention from Real Madrid.

The London club’s plan is to reach an agreement now that secures priority on the player, then complete the move in June 2026.

That approach would allow Vasco to keep their leading scorer for another half-season, which suits a sporting department that views Rayan as central to early targets next year.

Any deal will be costly. Vasco recently renewed his contract to December 2028, inserting an 80 million euros release clause, roughly R$ 517 million.

With the forward protected by terms and thriving on the pitch, Vasco hold a strong hand in talks. Whether Crystal Palace, less storied than other suitors, can convince the player and the Rio club remains open.
