Crystal Palace interested in Angers striker Sidiki Cherif | OneFootball

According to a report from Le Parisien, Crystal Palace are interested in Angers SCO striker Sidiki Cherif (19). However, the Premier League side are not the only team that the teenager has caught the attention of. 

Last season looked as if it was going to be a breakthrough campaign for the teenager. He started the first three games of the season for Angers. However, injuries would quickly derail his progress, and he would miss much of the campaign. 

Instead, Cherif would have to wait until this year to finally announce himself to the league, and he has impressed, filling the void left by Estéban Lepaul’s transfer to Stade Rennais. Cherif has already scored four, helping Angers to a respectable 10th-place position over the winter break. 

His performances have not gone unnoticed, and Le Parisien writes that a Bundesliga side are looking to make a move when the winter transfer window opens on the 1st of January.
