The Eagles announced the news via a post on their official club website this evening.
The 25-year-old defender moves to South London after recently leaving Crystal Palace’s Barclays WSL2 rivals Bristol City. Napier captained The Robins last season while she played Barclays Women’s Super League football with the club in her first year at Ashton Gate in 2023/2024.
While Napier is primarily seen as a full-back, she can play anywhere down the left side and she will give Crystal Palace boss Jo Potter plenty of options this season.
The Scotland international has spent the last five-and-a-half-year years south of the border. She was initially picked up by Chelsea before turning out for Birmingham City, London City Lionesses and latest club Bristol City.
After joining Crystal Palace, Napier said “I’m delighted to be here, I’m really looking forward to getting started.
“I had a really good conversation with Jo [Potter], and I think both the club and I share similar values, goals and ambitions.”
Napier is Crystal Palace’s first signing of the summer transfer window. New boss Potter is expected to bolster her squad significantly in the coming weeks.
