Crystal Palace winger Michael Olise joins Bayern Munich | OneFootball

Bayern Munich have completed the signing of Crystal Palace winger Michael Olise.

The France under-21 international becomes the Bundesliga giants’ second arrival of the summer after meeting his reported £60m release clause.

Vincent Kompany’s side saw off competition from Premier League heavyweights Chelsea and Manchester United to secure Olise’s signature.

Olise joins on a five-year deal with the youngster telling Bayern’s official website: “The talks with FC Bayern were very positive, and I’m very happy to now be playing for such a big club.

“It’s a great challenge, and that’s exactly what I was looking for. I want to prove myself at this level and play my part in ensuring that we win as many titles as possible with our team in the coming years.”

He follows Stuttgart defender Hiroki Itō in making the move to the Allianz Arena after Bayern missed out on the Bundesliga title to Bayer Leverkusen.
