The AC Milan players will be hoping for a hostile home crowd to back them against Napoli tonight, and the Curva Sud have softened their protest.
The Curva Sud Milano were silent until the final 10 minutes of the game against Club Brugge on Tuesday night as they. They were protesting about the ticket prices for the matches against Napoli and Juventus, which have been causing a stir among the fan base because of how high they are.
There have been no flags or banners on display since the ‘Doppia Curva’ investigation began, given the links that some of the symbology has to the leaders of the group who are currently being questioned.
The Curva Sud announced this decision in a statement published a few minutes ago on its social media channels.
“For Milan-Napoli, the ban on displaying some banners from the Curva Sud groups continues. Therefore, once again, the Curva will be stripped of our banners: no banners, flags or pennants.
“In order not to miss out on our support for the lads in a very important match, we have nevertheless decided to return to cheering from the 1st minute! AVANTI ROSSONERI AVANTI BANDITI! Always with Milan in our hearts.”
