Daniel Bragança ‘linked’ with Valencia move from Sporting | OneFootball

Daniel Bragança has been linked with Valencia, with Spain seen as his likeliest next step after a reduced role at Sporting.

According to A Bola, the 27-year-old could depart the Portuguese league this summer, and Valencia are cited as a possible destination given the close ties between Jorge Mendes and Peter Lim.

The midfielder can operate as a six or an eight. He spent much of the past season on the fringes after starting the campaign recovering from an anterior cruciate ligament injury.

He has 37 caps for Portugal and previously held a prominent role at Sporting. His influence has waned in recent seasons and he is into the final year of his contract without a renewal.

The report adds that Sporting are seeking 10-12 million euros. Valencia are not expected to meet that price, in line with most Spanish clubs, with LaLiga's spending power weakened outside the top five.
