Daniel Farke says Leeds will not increase the size of their squad this January, though he remains open to limited reinforcements if they fit the group.
According to Leeds Live, Facundo Buonanotte is on his way to Elland Road after Brighton ended his Chelsea loan early, the 21-year-old having played just 45 Premier League minutes. He nearly joined United in the summer before Chelsea intervened late.
Leeds have favoured a 3-5-2 lately, reducing reliance on wingers, though Farke has switched to a back four with width during games, including the comebacks at home to Liverpool and away at Brentford last month.
He declined to discuss the Argentine directly but said he welcomes quality, especially creative options in winger or number 10 roles, while stressing decisions must be right for the group and that competition matters.
Harry Gray has joined Rotherham United on loan for the rest of the season, while Jack Harrison is moving towards a loan to Fiorentina, with the details still being thrashed out.
Farke reiterated he will not extend the group or oversee a big turnaround. He believes the core is sound, sees scope for one to three additions, and ruled out doing more.
