The club said in a statement that 18-year-old forward Daniel Pinter has signed a homegrown contract with Inter Miami through the 2027-28 MLS season, with options for 2028-29, 2029-30 and 2030-31. He becomes the 10th academy product to step up to the first team.

Pinter made his professional debut in 2024 for Inter Miami II in MLS NEXT Pro while on an academy deal. He signed his first professional contract ahead of 2025 and later that year made his first-team bow in an MLS match against Charlotte on a short-term loan from the club’s MLS NEXT Pro affiliate.

Across 2024 and 2025 he made 19 appearances for Inter Miami II, scoring 10 goals and supplying three assists.

He joined the academy in 2019 as part of its inaugural class, starting with the U-13s, and progressed through the pathway to earn this promotion. Sporting director Guillermo Hoyos praised Pinter’s competitive edge, ambition and character, describing him as a popular example for academy players who can continue developing alongside senior teammates.

American-Hungarian by background, he has represented the United States and Hungary at youth level. Most recently he took part in multiple U.S. youth camps, including one in October where he led the U-19s in scoring with three goals in two matches. He follows Israel Boatwright, Tyler Hall, Santiago Morales, David Ruiz, Benjamin Cremaschi, Noah Allen, Ian Fray, Edison Azcona and Felipe Valencia among homegrown graduates.
