David Jurásek bids farewell to Benfica with Porto dig after Slavia move

David Jurásek marked his Benfica farewell by posting photos from the Supertaça Cândido de Oliveira win over Porto, including one with Pepe, shortly after his move to Slavia was confirmed.

According to Glorioso 1904, the image choice sparked social media debate, with the Pepe confrontation widely seen as a clear provocation towards Porto fans.

The transfer was filed with the CMVM, and the operation was set out as three million euros guaranteed plus up to one million in performance-related add-ons. Benfica also retained 50% of any future sell-on profit.

Jurásek, valued at four and a half million euros, made 12 appearances in 2023/24 but never established himself at Benfica.

He was signed in 2023 as Alejandro Grimaldo’s replacement, costing 14 million euros.
