Arsenal’s David Raya remains the clear frontrunner for the 2025/26 Premier League Golden Glove, with the Spaniard already recording 15 clean sheets in 31 appearances this season.
Remarkably, this tally exceeds his total from the entire 2024/25 campaign. Raya currently sits just one shutout away from his personal best of 16.
If he triumphs again, he will become only the fourth goalkeeper to win three successive awards. Such a feat would firmly etch his name into English top-flight folklore.
However, the chasing pack still harbours hopes of an upset. Manchester City’s Gianluigi Donnarumma and Everton’s Jordan Pickford are tied on 11 clean sheets each.
Donnarumma recently lost ground after conceding against West Ham United and Nottingham Forest. Nevertheless, Manchester City have eight matches remaining compared to Arsenal’s seven. This extra fixture provides the Italian with a slim mathematical chance to close the gap.
Meanwhile, Pickford’s consistent form for Everton keeps him firmly in the elite conversation after securing his 100th club shutout against Chelsea.
Further down the rankings, Djordje Petrovic is enjoying a standout season for AFC Bournemouth. The Serbian has kept three clean sheets in his last five outings. These results included a trio of goalless draws against Burnley, Brentford, and West Ham.
Petrovic has been incredibly busy, making 94 saves so far this campaign. Only one other top-flight goalkeeper has faced more shots this season. His contributions have been vital for the Cherries’ mid-table stability.
In the relegation battle, clean sheets are proving to be worth their weight in gold. Matz Sels, last year’s joint winner, recently secured back-to-back shutouts for Nottingham Forest. These defensive displays are crucial for Forest’s survival hopes in the Premier League.
Similarly, Karl Darlow has stepped up for Leeds United in recent weeks. Darlow helped his side claim consecutive goalless draws against Brentford and Crystal Palace.
While Raya looks set for individual glory, these defensive efforts remain pivotal at both ends of the table
