Utrecht beat Telstar 4-1 at Stadion Galgenwaard to rise from ninth to eighth in the Eredivisie, with the visitors dropping to 16th.
In the 10th minute, Matisse Didden steered in from close range after Dani de Wit's headed pass from a corner.
Telstar threatened before the break, but Vasilis Barkas saved from Patrick Brouwer and Tyrone Owusu. Souffian El Karouani then struck the right post on a counter for the hosts late in the first half.
After the restart, Danny Bakker levelled with a low drive from outside the area (58.). Moments later, Gjivai Zechiël restored the lead with a crisp finish into the top left (61.), created by Yoann Cathline.
Having assisted the opener, de Wit added a third with a composed strike from the centre of the box (72.).
Substitute Jesper Karlsson sealed it with a free-kick in the first minute of second half stoppage time.
Barkas finished with six saves. Utrecht converted four of their nine shots on target.
