Roberto De Zerbi wants Tottenham to sign Benfica winger Andreas Schjelderup. A Bola reports that Spurs have made the Norway international a leading target, with Liverpool and Chelsea also tracking him.

Schjelderup enhanced his reputation at the 2026 World Cup. He arrived as a rotation option for Norway but quickly became one of the coach’s main selections.

His displays drew notice. He was pivotal in the win over Brazil, contributing to both Norway goals, then scored against England in the quarter-finals.

The 22-year-old has two years left on his Benfica contract and is assessing a possible new challenge.

The Premier League appeals to him, and he has long shown a desire to play in English football. That preference could favour any Tottenham approach in a busy window.

Spurs have already been active in the market, adding Sandro Tonali, Mateus Fernandes and Jan Paul van Hecke. They have also brought in Martin Dubravka, Andy Robertson and Marcos Senesi on free transfers.
