Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has provided a Saturday night transfer update that involved a done deal for Chelsea!
The Blues are busy in this latter stage of the transfer market now trying to get a number of late deals done before the window closes at the end of the month. There is of course still plenty of time to go.
We’ve been putting all these transfer updates out on here lately but there has been barely any mention of the future of forgotten midfielder Lesley Ugochukwu. Well, Matt Law of The Telegraph actually did have a bit of a story detailing what is expected to happen with him yesterday.
Christopher Nkunku is obviously another player expected to leave the club still this window, and there’s been some links with a potential move to Inter Milan this weekend.
So plenty going on with outgoings at the moment, and there was another one that moved fast and out of nowhere this weekend too.

Striker Armando Broja is joining new Premier League side Burnley in a deal that came out of nowhere but is already done!
Fabrizio Romano reported last night on X:
‘Armando Broja has completed main part of his medical tests at Burnley, deal done with Chelsea.’
It’s so good when deals like this are done out of nowhere and then across the space of about 24 hours are reported as a done deal. We just await the medical completion and then the official announcement from the clubs.
It just goes to show that it can be done this quick when it needs to be and obviously when clubs have no issue with the fee they agree on. It’s probably been in the works for a while as well but has just been kept quiet, which is also great!
