Danny Imray settled the contest in the 69th minute with a composed finish, as West Bromwich Albion beat Watford 3-0. The right-back's timing and quality in both boxes tilted the game.
Early on, Imray pushed high from right-back and delivered a precise cross that was turned in for the opener. His willingness to overlap gave West Brom width and a constant outlet against the Hornets.
After the restart, he arrived unmarked at the far post to sweep home the third (69.), capping a performance that mixed end product with control out wide. From there, Watford struggled to stem his forward runs.
Imray's numbers underlined that influence: one goal and one assist, five tackles won from five, plus three successful dribbles and 11 successful passes in the final third. That blend of aggression and composure kept the Hornets pinned back and snuffed out counters.
Because he continually occupied advanced spaces on the right and defended cleanly when play flipped, Imray dictated the flank and ensured West Brom controlled the key phases.
