Adam Davies produced a six-save display, highlighted by a reflex stop in the 21st minute, as Sheffield United drew 1-1 at Birmingham City.
He was sharp early, getting down to turn away a low effort (21.). Moments later, the Blades lost Femi Seriki to a straight red (23.), compounding the workload on their goalkeeper.
Before the interval he denied Marvin Ducksch from close range (44.). After the restart, he blocked Patrick Roberts' drive (52.).
Davies then tipped aside Demarai Gray from distance (70.), clawed away another rising strike (84.) and pushed over Ducksch's shot (88.). He finished with six saves against 18 Birmingham attempts and seven on target, the clearest individual contribution under pressure.
With the Blades down to ten, he commanded his box as Birmingham slung in 33 crosses. The Blades made 47 clearances, and Davies' handling steadied a stretched back line.
Next up, the Blades host Wrexham, while Birmingham visit Derby.
