Leif Davis won it in the 77th minute with a glancing header, as Ipswich Town beat Derby County 2-1.
He timed his run perfectly to meet Kasey McAteer's right wing cross, steering a deft header into the top right corner (77.). That movement from the left back line broke the Rams' resistance.
From there, the Tractor Boys leant on his security in possession and delivery. Davis completed 26 of 28 passes and produced three accurate crosses from seven, keeping Derby pinned in wide areas.
He also did the dirty work late on, making four clearances and finishing with 48 touches, a clean blend of end product and control down the flank that tilted the contest Ipswich's way.
The Tractor Boys rise from fourth to third in the Championship table. They visit Wrexham in the FA Cup next. Derby host Swansea next.
How high would you rate Davis's performance today?
