Paris Saint-Germain and Arsenal are both looking to bounce back from weekend losses as they head into the second leg of their UEFA Champions League semifinal clash. Moreover, the Gunners will need to overcome a one-goal deficit on Wednesday night.
PSG suffered a 2-1 defeat to RC Strasbourg on Saturday at Stade de la Meinau, giving up two goals in the first half. Bradley Barcola pulled one back after the break, but despite a strong push in the second half, the Ligue 1 leaders couldn’t find an equalizer, marking their second consecutive league loss.
Arsenal also fell 2-1, this time at home to Bournemouth. The Gunners took the lead early at Emirates Stadium but allowed two goals in the second half. Despite the setback, Arsenal midfielder Declan Rice shared some inspiring words, aiming to motivate the team for a comeback as their Champions League tie remains on the line.

While speaking to ESPN, Declan Rice said Arsenal will need “big balls” to reach their first Champions League final in 19 years.
“I think the manager calls them magic moments,” Rice said “He always talks about having someone delivering a magic moment. I think in that game against Madrid, obviously I was able to produce two free kicks, which were incredible.
“But tomorrow night, a semifinal is set up for someone else to maybe get that magic moment. Hopefully it’s me again, but you’re going to need a moment of magic to win a game, and as a team we’re going to need that.
“The way they move between the lines was really, really smart. But once we worked out how we could beat them, we missed a few chances, but in terms of how we were driving with the ball, giving our wingers one v one opportunities, chances started to open up.
“I think tomorrow night we need to do the same. We need to have big balls and we need to go out there on the biggest stage and show that we’re ready to play at this level.”
