Defences hold firm as Estoril and Casa Pia share points | OneFootball

Estoril and Casa Pia drew 0-0 at the Estádio António Coimbra da Mota on Saturday, a result that keeps Estoril eighth and Casa Pia 13th in Liga Portugal.

In the 21st minute, Jeremy Livolant drew a low stop from Joel Robles after Abdu Conte found space down the left.

Before the interval there was a brief treatment break for Patrick Sequeira, and moments later Cassiano lifted a close-range chance over from Conte's cross (42.).

After the restart, Conte rattled the bar from distance following Dailon Livramento's pass (57.). Estoril replied as Alejandro Orellana Gomez's rising drive was tipped away by Sequeira (65.), before Jordan William Holsgrove sent a free-kick just over (68.).

Robles preserved the clean sheet late on, saving from Livramento at the near post (88.), with Cassiano then missing the top corner from the centre of the box (88.). Rafael Brito shot high in the first minute of second half stoppage time.

Estoril dominated the ball with 63.8% possession but produced only one effort on target. Casa Pia matched them with nine attempts and struck the woodwork once.
