Lionel Messi's Inter Miami aimed to make a splash in MLS by signing Denis Bouanga, but Los Angeles FC turned down the €11 million offer, according to The Athletic.

The 31-year-old Gabonese forward, the undisputed star of the California side, has no intention of leaving his club and may even extend his contract beyond 2027. Having arrived from Saint-Étienne in 2022 for less than five million euros, Bouanga quickly established himself as one of the league's top attackers.
