Dewsbury-Hall And George Get 8 | Chelsea Players Rated In Narrow Victory Vs Djurgarden

Chelsea entertained Djurgarden at Stamford Bridge earlier tonight as they hoped to earn a win in the second leg of their UEFA Europa Conference League semifinal tie. The Blues made a bright start to the game and got their noses ahead in the 38th minute when Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall found the back of the net. Enzo Maresca’s men went into the half-time break 1-0 up on the scoreline.
The West London club sat on their lead well in the second half and earned a narrow 1-0 win (5-1 win on aggregate) in front of their home fans.
Let’s take a look at how each Chelsea player fared during the contest against Djurgarden.
GK: Filip Jorgensen – 7/10
He made a few important saves during the game and kept a clean sheet tonight.
RB: Malo Gusto – 6/10
Gusto didn’t do much wrong when defending inside his half but lacked quality on the ball.
CB: Tosin Adarabioyo – 7/10
He maintained a good shape on the defensive third of the field and would be pleased with the clean sheet.
CB: Benoit Badiashile – 6.5/10
Badiashile was hardly tested defensively and was a strong presence in the air.

LB: Josh Acheampong – 7.5/10
Acheampong put in a lively display on the left flank.
RM: Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall – 8/10
He was good on the ball and took his goal well in the first half which proved to be the difference between the two sides tonight.
CM: Reece James – 6.5/10
James distributed the ball well but struggled to make an impact in the final third.
CM: Marc Cucurella – 6/10
He did well to fill in as a midfielder in the first half.
LM: Jadon Sancho – 6/10
Sancho made some driving runs with the ball but there was no goal for him.
CAM: Reggie Walsh – 7/10
The talented teenager was composed on the ball and put in a good performance in the final third.
ST: Tyrique George – 8/10
George caught the eye at times in the opposition half and picked up an assist for setting up Dewsbury-Hall’s goal.
Substitutes:
ST: Shim Mheuka – 6.5/10
Mhueka held possession up well for his team.
LB: Genesis Antwi – 6/10
He put in a nice cameo off the bench.
CB: Trevoh Chalobah – 6/10
Chalobah was a solid presence on the defensive end of the field.
