Diaz And Mac Allister Get 8 | Liverpool Players Rated In Narrow Win Vs West Ham United

Liverpool entertained West Ham United at Anfield earlier today as they hoped to secure a good result at home in the Premier League. The Reds made a quick start to the game and scored the opening goal in the 18th minute thanks to Luis Diaz’s goal. The Merseyside club went into the half-time break 1-0 up on the scoreline.
Andrew Robertson scored an unfortunate own goal in the 86th minute. However, Virgil Van Dijk popped up with the winning goal just three minutes later. Arne Slot’s men ended up securing a narrow 2-1 win at Anfield.

The Brazilian keeper made a few solid saves during the game but couldn’t do much about Robertson’s own goal.

Bradley got stuck in with a few solid tackles and made one key chance going forward.

He put his foot through the ball when he could and was good on the ball.
CB: Virgil Van Dijk – 7.5/10
Van Dijk was strong in the air and scored the winning goal with a good header in the 89th minute.

LB: Kostas Tsimikas – 6.5/10
He was full of energy at both ends of the field.
CM: Ryan Gravenberch – 6.5/10
Gravenberch anchored the midfield well and made one decent run with the ball.
CM: Alexis Mac Allister – 8/10
He caused all sorts of problems for the West Ham defenders and ended the game with an assist to his name.
RW: Mohamed Salah – 7/10
Salah was a real threat in the first half and set up Diaz’s opener with a great pass. However, he was quiet in the second half and was replaced in the 84th minute.
CAM: Curtis Jones – 6.5/10
He retained possession well in the opponent’s half but there was no goal for him.
LW: Luis Diaz – 8/10
Diaz caused a lot of headaches for his marker and did well to score the opening goal in the 18th minute.
ST: Diogo Jota – 6/10
He made one good chance in the final third but never looked like he would score.
