France national team manager Didier Deschamps has confirmed that he’ll announce Les Bleus‘ squad for the World Cup a day later than previously thought. Two weeks ago, Deschamps faced the media to reveal the 26 players that would fly to America for France’s US tour, where Les Bleus defeated Brazil before locking horns with Colombia tonight at Landover’s Northwest Stadium.

For the occasion, Deschamps revealed that he would announce his World Cup squad on Wednesday, May 13. However, Deschamps backtracked and will instead do so the day after, on Thursday, May 14. The France national team manager explained this minor change of dates by citing the controversial postponement of the Ligue 1 clash between RC Lens and PSG, which is expected to take place on May 13.
