Milan have moved quickly to secure one of the Balkans’ most promising young forwards, with Partizan teenager Andrej Kostic set to undergo his medical on Friday ahead of completing a permanent move to the club.
The 2007-born Montenegrin will join at the end of the current season for a fee of around €3 million, according to TMW, and will initially be integrated into Milan Futuro, the club’s reserve team setup, as part of a carefully planned development pathway.
Milan have been tracking Kostic for several months and decided to act now to beat rival clubs to his signature.

The move reflects the club’s broader strategy of identifying and securing young talent from emerging markets before competition drives up prices, with the forward considered one of the most exciting prospects currently playing in the region.
The intention is to nurture Kostic gradually through Milan’s system, with the long-term aim of eventually integrating him into the first-team setup.
At just 19, he has plenty of time on his side, and the club are in no rush to accelerate his development beyond what is appropriate for his age.
It is a measured but forward-thinking piece of business from sporting director Igli Tare, low risk, high potential, and exactly the kind of deal that can pay significant dividends further down the line.
