Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has told Chelsea fans not to forget about one transfer deal for Chelsea ahead of deadline day.

Time is running out now for any late deals to get done, and this means Chelsea could be pretty busy on deadline day this coming Monday. If you include today and Monday, that gives Chelsea just four days left to tie up any transfer business they want to do.

One deal that has been all over the media the last couple of weeks is Chelsea’s attempts to sign Jeremy Jacquet from Rennes. The centre back is clearly wanted by The Blues, but so far no deal has been agreed by the two clubs and it looks like the French side want to keep their star man at least until the summer.

However, that has not seen Chelsea give up on the deal, and Romano has still teased that they could even still sign him in the January window and if not, they are looking to get a pre-deal done for the summer, or sign him and loan him back until then.

Jacquet continues to be courted by Chelsea, and Romano put the latest out on it last night via his YouTube channel.

He said:

“Don’t forget what I told you about Jérémy Jacquet, Chelsea will try again for him now or for the summer. For sure they are going ‘all in’ for him.”
