According to OptaPaolo, since his debut on January 18, Malen is among the players with the most goals in the top five European leagues, with only Bayern Munich’s Harry Kane having scored more.
Furthermore, like Malen, only Lamine Yamal and Ante Budimir have scored as many goals in La Liga.
Despite his performance, however, his goal failed to secure Roma’s victory against Juventus.
