In addition to their attacking lineup, Roma are also seeking a defensive bolster, and the chosen player is Tottenham’s Radu Dragusin.
In recent hours, the Giallorossi have intensified their contact with Spurs to bring the player to the capital.
According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Roma has already submitted an initial official offer to Tottenham for the player’s transfer, with a loan option to buy.
The offer was made based on the player’s wishes, who is pushing for a transfer and prefers Italy as a destination.
Florin Manea, the defender’s agent, confirmed the player’s desire to move to the capital: “I’m waiting for Tottenham to say yes to Roma before we can get to the heart of the matter.”
In an interview with RaiSport, Manea emphasized that “Radu has a special bond with Italy,” calling the defender a “gladiator” and emphasizing that Rome is the ideal destination for a player with his character.
“Gladiators are happy in Rome,” his agent stated.
Manea has set the player’s price at €25 million and firmly dismissed the possibility of a move to Fiorentina, saying: “With all due respect, it wouldn’t be the right path for him.”
The defender’s future therefore appears increasingly focused on Rome, with negotiations likely to come to a head in the next few hours.
