Caicedo is confident Chelsea will do well under Liam Rosenior, and the 24-year-old has scored five goals in 31 appearances this season.

The Ecuador international has been appreciated by the Chelsea fan base, but it feels like it’s only recently he’s started to get wider recognition from outside.

He’s played alongside both Enzo Fernandez and Andrey Santos this season, and he’s very much the glue which holds the team together.

He’s one of the best midfielders currently playing, and club legend Hazard feels Caicedo is the most underrated player in world football.

“As a Chelsea fan, I’ll say Caicedo, he’s the best player in the Premier League right now,” he told GOAL.

Caicedo will find himself in the heart of the Chelsea midfield against Wolves on Saturday as the Blues look to make it four league wins in a row.

Chelsea target a new midfielder in the summer

Whilst both Caicedo and Fernandez have been in great form this season, Chelsea are reportedly looking for another midfielder in the summer to ease the burden on the duo.
