Eintracht Frankfurt Board Member for Sport Markus Krösche had a chance to comment on Nathaniel Brown’s sensational €50m transfer to Bayern Munich while speaking from the SGE training camp. Krösche believes Brown’s €50 transfer to Bayern Munich reflects positively on both the player and the club’s development work. The fact that the 23-year-old is remaining in the Bundesliga – even joining a competitor – also remains good news.
“It’s a recognition for Nene [Brown], but also for us as Eintracht Frankfurt,” Krösche said during the club’s training camp in Grassau. “Players develop with us to such an extent that they can move to Bayern Munich for that amount.
“I believe it is the most expensive transfer within the Bundesliga in history,” Krösche continued. “It is also a nice story for German football that he is staying in the Bundesliga. When you look at recent years, Woltemade, Wirtz, Ekitiké and Marmoush all went abroad.”
